The Peanut Gallery Tavern has been a family business since 1974. It was owned by brothers Dan and John. It was named the Cork N Crown when they purchased the bar. In 1975, the brothers built a glass rack over the bar together and decided to change the name to the Glass Rack Tavern. It remained the Glass Rack until 1992. When John left the business in 1992, Dan became the sole owner. Realizing it was an old business, he did some remodeling and wanted to change the name. He decided to always have free roasted peanuts and that’s how the Peanut Gallery got its name. In the years to follow business was expanded, which included banquet/entertainment room. In 2005, Dan turned the business over to his daughter Donna who worked in the business since the beginning. It has been our goal to offer a nice friendly atmosphere, good tavern food with reasonable prices. |
